バイオグラフィ (日本語)：
熊本県の阿蘇市で生まれる。DJ、Vocalist、プロデューサーとして1993年頃から幅広く音楽活動を開始。
ロックバンドなどのボーカル・ギタリストとして活動していたが、ドイツ/オランダへ渡りレイブ・クラブシーンの洗礼を受け、ダンスミュージックに目覚める。
帰国後、トラック制作により一層のめり込み、トライバル・テクノ・プログレッシブハウスを軸に自らの声とパーカッションをリアルタイムにサンプリングしながら構成していくライブセットを仕上げ中。
クラブ型レイブパーティー「TOTEM」のレジデントDJ兼主宰を務める。ラップトップとCDJ、エフェクトを駆使した実験的なスタイルのDJ活動も行なう。
リリースにも積極的で、Shin Nishimura主宰のテクノレーベルPlus Recordsや、
日本のテクノの歴史を語る上で欠かすことのできないDJ WADA（Co-Fusion）らもリリースしているオーストラリアのHypnotic Room、イタリアのPOOL8、独自のトライバルサウンドでグローバルに活躍するDJ JURI（太鼓DUB）のリミックスアルバムに参加し、Flower RecordsからはCDリリースを果たすなど、国内外問わずリリースを重ねている。クラブ情報誌「LOUD誌」主催の国内DJトップランキングには2年連続ランクイン。
Biography (English)：
Doshokubutsu means ::Flora and Fauna:: Do Shock Booze a.k.a. Yoichi Hayashi is a Japanese producer, vocalist and DJ born in Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture.
Since 1993 he started his incursion into different musical activities.
In the year 1998, he moved to Tokyo, where he began new musical compositions and his activity as DJ.
Having Dance Music as his main tool, he started including in his performances live voice sampling.
Stablished as a Percussive , Techno & Progressive House DJ, he has played with several prominent overseas artists like Rennie Foster and Chris Finke.
Runner as finalist in the Kawasaki Halloween DJ BATTLE, Japan’s biggest Halloween Parade in Kawasaki, where 3000 people in disguises partied together.
In the year 2009, ranked amongst the top best national DJs by the CLUB CULTURE MAGAZINE.
Currently, arrangements are been made to make a release from Flower Records with a series of his own remix works and the work of Sungat experience and DJ JURI (TAIKO DUB).
Using his previous experience in bands, his knowledge and skills in recording he is simultaneously working on an original first album.
Resident DJ and organizer of the biggest rave party in Kyushuu at ASO VOLCANO, “BLAFMA” party in Club Asia and indoor type rave “TOTEM” @ Cube326.
As a leading figure of dance music in Japan, he produces his own party “TOTEM” regularly and invites the best DJs from all over the world.
He also runs his own label, TOTEM TRAXX, in order to release his own material and talented upcoming artists.
